Welcome to Honey Bees @ Leominster Leisure Centre
Honey Bees @ Leominster Leisure Centre - affectionately know as the Owl Room, is an extension of our main setting at Honey Bees Day Nursery; it is located in a separate building based in the Leominster Leisure Centre opposite Honey Bees.
At age 2 children can start directly into the Owl Room on a term time basis. Owl Room cares for children up to the age of 5 yrs old (Pre-School), and supports parents and children in the transition into primary school.
For those children who attend the Baby Room at Honey Bees Day Nursery, when they turn 2 years old, they may continue onwards through Honey Bees Day Nursery on a full time, all year round basis or they may move to the Owl Room on a term time only basis, 38 weeks per year.
This is a term time only room that cares for 2 to 5 year olds.
Though the Owl Room is in a separate building, twice daily outings to the Honey Bees garden ensure the usual enriched curriculum that you find in the main setting.
The Owl Room runs with the same work philosophy and high standard of childcare as Honey Bees Day Nursery; incorporating values education learning and supporting learning through play.
At Honey Bees, children receive tender care and attention combined with quality nursery education. Younger children engage in a variety of sensory based exploration activities, while older children develop their independence and thinking skills. All the activities and environment provided by Honey Bees are supervised by experienced staff. As well as childcare qualifications many of our staff also hold higher level qualifications such as degrees in early childhood studies. In addition to this all of the staff attend further training as part of their continued professional development. This ensures your child gets the best possible nursery education.
